She\u2019s previously starred in the Netflix films <em>Work It <\/em>and <em>Tall Girl<\/em>, as well as 20th Century Fox\u2019s <em>The Hate U Give <\/em>and Disney\u2019s <em>Clouds<\/em>. She got her start acting on Disney Channel\u2019s <em>Girl Meets World<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">In addition to Carpenter, Marc Platt will help produce through his Universal-backed Marc Platt Productions, as will Leslie Morgenstein and Elysa Koplovitz Dutton of Alloy Entertainment.
