\nThe K-pop boy band are planning to make their return in “late March” and have provided an update on their time in the studio.<\/p>\n
\nRM posted to X on Tuesday (11.11.25): \u201cAbove all, the music is really coming out great!! Everyone is working hard. Look forward to it. 2026 Bulletproof Army Fighting\u201d<\/p>\n
\nIn October, RM,\u00a0V\u00a0and\u00a0J-hope headed to W Korea\u2018s Love Your W breast cancer charity event in Seoul, South Korea, and were quizzed on when fans can expect their long-awaited comeback.<\/p>\n
\nAs quoted by NME, RM said: \u201cWe have to keep preparing for the album \u2014 we\u2019ll shoot the album photos and film the music video. Please look forward to late March.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJ-hope quipped: \u201cIt\u2019s been a while \u2014 should we start dance practice again?\u201d<\/p>\n
\nTo which, RM playfully replied: \u201cLet\u2019s start tomorrow.”<\/p>\n
\nThe promise of a March return came after all seven members of the K-pop boy band reunited in July for the first time since 2022, having completed their mandatory military service. The Butter artists were forced to put their careers on hold in 2022 as 18 months of military service is compulsory for all men in South Korea.<\/p>\n
\nDuring a special livestream, the band revealed to their fans – known as the ARMY – that they were working on a\u00a0new album, set for release in\u00a0spring 2026, with a\u00a0world tour\u00a0to follow.<\/p>\n
\nThey said: \u201cWe\u2019ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year. Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music. Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member\u2019s thoughts and ideas.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n“We\u2019re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started. We\u2019re also planning a world tour alongside the new album.<\/p>\n
\n“We\u2019ll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you\u2019re as excited as we are.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nRM also said BTS had been working “diligently” on their next full-length release.<\/p>\n
\nIn a message to fans on the platform Weverse, he said: “It’s already been a little over two months since I was discharged from the military.<\/p>\n
\n“I’m from faraway Los Angeles. I live, work, and play with the members. It’s a really strange experience. It feels ‘Bon Voyage Pyeongchang.’ It’s weird already, right… Anyway, I feel like I’m working diligently somewhere.”<\/p>\n
\nHe added: “Making something ‘together’ with these friends, I’m going to commit myself to this moment. I’m going to thank you. It’s our next album.<\/p>\n
\n“I’m looking for what I’ll become. Something I’ve forgotten for too long, the moments that are far away together. I hope that it will be a kind of beauty.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
