Paris Jackson<\/strong><\/a> is clarifying why she decided to go public about having a perforated septum.<\/p>\n

Paris, 27, recently shared that she has a hole between her nostrils due to her past drug use. A perforated septum<\/a> is a hole in the cartilage or bone between the nostrils, per the Cleveland Clinic<\/a>. It can be caused by autoimmune diseases, drug misuse, infections, injuries, exposure to chemicals and more.<\/p>\n

After the popular Instagram account The Shade Room shared<\/a> a video of Paris talking about her perforated septum on Tuesday, November 11, the daughter of the late Michael Jackson<\/strong><\/a> dove into the comments section to elaborate on why she decided to share her health condition.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo the people wondering why I shared this, it\u2019s not for you \u2665\ufe0f,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

Kelly Osbourne, who previously talked about being sober for six years, revealed in April 2021 that she had suffered a relapse and was working on next steps. \u201cNot proud of it. If this isn\u2019t something you relate to, it\u2019s totally understandable why it would be confusing for you. And that\u2019s totally okay.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cIt\u2019s just a different life experience. I\u2019d be grateful for that! Just know that this is for other people that are either also in recovery, or haven\u2019t found it yet. Much love!\u201d<\/p>\n

Paris first opened up about her perforated septum in a social media video that was reposted by a TikTok<\/a> fan page on Sunday, November 9.<\/p>\n

\u201cI realized I never addressed this and it can sometimes be very noticeable,\u201d she said in the video. \u201cI have a really loud whistle because you can hear it when I breathe through my nose and that is because I have what is called a perforated septum.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the video, Paris shone a light up her nose to show the hole in the cavity and said that \u201cit\u2019s what you think it\u2019s from.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t do drugs, kids,\u201d she explained. \u201cOr do, I mean, everyone is going to have the experience they need to have with life. I\u2019m not going to tell anyone what to do. I don\u2019t recommend it because it ruined my life.\u201d<\/p>\n
