(Attila Szvacsek\/HBO)<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><em>Dune: Prophecy<\/em> season 2 has officially started production, and its brought some new faces along for the ride.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">HBO Max has announced that the second season of the drama series set in the same universe as <strong>Denis<\/strong> <strong>Villeneuve<\/strong>&#8216;s <em>Dune<\/em> films has starting filming. The streaming service has also announced new cast members <strong>Tom<\/strong> <strong>Hollander<\/strong>, <strong>Ashley Walters<\/strong> and <strong>Indira Varma<\/strong> have joined for the sophomore season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;Keep the spice flowing,&#8221; HBO Max captioned an <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DQ7O8s4kbVz\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=6f9100a2-3ed5-4c61-9667-c9b7280a22d9\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Instagram video;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Instagram video<\/a> of the cast on set of the new season. &#8220;#DuneProphecy Season 2 is in production with new cast members Indira Varma, Ashley Walters, and Tom Hollander.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The eight-episode second season comes from showrunner <strong>Alison Schapker<\/strong> and will film in Hungary, Jordan and Spain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Season 1 of the series took place 10,000 year before Paul Atreides&#8217; ascension.
