Amid all the roles that Adam Sandler <\/strong>can fit in perfectly, a man in a suit is not one of them. In a recent revelation, the 59-year-old actor admitted that he does not like wearing suits at all, something he had to do extensively during the promotion of Noah Baumbach\u2019s Jay Kelly, where Sandler stars alongside George Clooney.<\/p>\n Adam Sandler<\/a> and costar Laura Dern recently talked to Entertainment Tonight<\/a> about their new film, Jay Kelly.<\/p>\n Before the interview began, Sandler revealed that he had to wear more suits than usual during the press tour for his new film. \u201cIt\u2019s been horrendous,\u201d the actor admitted. \u201cI don\u2019t like the feeling.\u201d The actor is frequently seen in casual and baggy clothes throughout the year.<\/p>\n \u201cI think I only have three different suits, and one of them I don\u2019t like,\u201d he continued. \u201cI can\u2019t stand the pants,\u201d he said, further revealing that he does not like any part of the suits. He added, \u201cI can\u2019t stand the jackets, the stupid shirts. Hate them all.\u201d Even when he received compliments on his look, he said, \u201cNo \u2026 Thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n The discussion around Adam Sandler and suits is not new. Earlier in the press tour, George Clooney, his co-star in Jay Kelly, said that he had been making Sandler wear more suits. \u201cI actually [have] been making Adam wear suits,\u201d Clooney told PEOPLE<\/a> in a red carpet appearance in September, \u201cDon\u2019t you think he looks nicer instead of those big baggy shorts?\u201d<\/p>\n But it seems that Sandler will never enjoy wearing suits, even if it makes him look good.<\/p>\n Jay Kelly<\/a> had its world premiere in the main competition of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on August 28, 2025. It was also nominated for the Golden Lion.
