Of the album\u2019s ethos, Snaith added, \u201cDaphni music is still music that I\u2019m making primarily for the purpose of playing in my DJ sets. The majority of the tracks on this record I do play regularly in my sets. But then there are a bunch\u2014slower, weirder\u2014that I don\u2019t usually play\u2026 or wait\u2026 maybe the point is that I\u2019d only play them in the right club.\u201d One particular club, Open Ground in Wuppertal, Germany, bears a particular influence on the album, he noted.<\/p>\n

A handful of songs from the new record have been released in the years since Cherry<\/em>, among them \u201cSad Piano House<\/a>,\u201d \u201cClap Your Hands<\/a>,\u201d \u201cEleven<\/a>,\u201d and \u201cJosephine<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
