They released two albums \u2014 <em>Map Of The Soul: 7 \u2013 The Journey<\/em> and <em>Be<\/em> \u2014 and had three No. 1 singles \u2014 \u201cDynamite,\u201d \u201cSavage Love (Laxed \u2013 Siren Beat) (BTS Remix),\u201d and \u201cLife Goes On.\u201d Aside from a few more No. 1 singles in 2021, though, it\u2019s been mostly quiet since then as the band members have been busy fulfilling their military service requirements in South Korea.<\/p>\n<p>Their comeback is getting closer and closer, though. The guys have met their obligations to their country and <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/uproxx.com\/music\/bts-reunite-j-hope-concert-korea\/\" target=\"_blank\">had a bit of a reunion<\/a> at a J-Hope concert this past summer. <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/uproxx.com\/music\/bts-reunion-date-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rumors then surfaced<\/a> that the group was set to return in March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>New music is indeed in progress now: In <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/01rkive\/status\/1988221559249793271\" target=\"_blank\">a tweet<\/a> shared yesterday (November 11), RM wrote (translated from Korean), \u201cAbove all, the music is really coming out great!! Everyone is working hard. Look forward to it. 2026 Bulletproof Army Fighting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Back in July, the band also <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/uproxx.com\/music\/bts-new-album-tour-2026-reunion\/\" target=\"_blank\">said in a statement<\/a>, \u201cWe\u2019ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year. Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music. Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member\u2019s thoughts and ideas. We\u2019re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.\u201d They added, \u201cWe\u2019re also planning a world tour alongside the new album.
