EL SEGUNDO, Calif. \u2014 It’s been 35 years since the 80s hit “Girl You Know It’s True” by the German-French duo Milli Vanilli. Their debut album sold over 14 million copies worldwide.<\/p>\n
Everything changed when the world discovered the two stars weren’t actually singing their songs\u2026they’d been lip syncing to studio vocalists.<\/p>\n
The fallout was massive: “Milli Vanilli” gave back their “Best New Artist” grammy in 1990, the first and only time that’s happened in the recording academy.<\/p>\n
