Several stars have covered Kehlani<\/strong>‘s Grammy-nominated hit “Folded,” but there was only one artist she had in mind when she thought about its remix.\u00a0While taking over Apple Music radio Tuesday<\/a>,\u00a0Kehlani said she had\u00a0her sights set on Usher<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cUsher was my dream \u2018Folded\u2019 remix. Before the [Folded Homage Pack<\/em>] came about, naturally, I was like, \u2018That\u2019s who I want to get for the remix.\u2019 But Usher was on tour,\u201d Kehlani said, before\u00a0noting “he loves the song.”<\/p>\n Despite not making it happen, Khristopher Riddick-Tynes<\/strong>, who produced the song,\u00a0said Kehlani\u00a0and Usher were still able to come together and “might have a little something something\u201d on the horizon.<\/p>\n \u201cAre we spilling beans?\u201d Kehlani asked, to which\u00a0Khristopher responded, \u201cThe beans have been slightly spilled.” She\u00a0revealed that the song will appear on her new album, which she teased will be filled with “great songs.”<\/p>\n \u201cI think that we can tell by the track record we\u2019re currently having of great song [after another] great song that there\u2019s more great songs, which eventually lead to a great album,\u201d Kehlani said.<\/p>\n
