Indeed, director <\/span>Noah Baumbach<\/strong>, who shares two young sons\u2014ages 6 and 2\u2014with wife <\/span>Greta Gerwig<\/strong>, explained that his relationship with the <\/span>Barbie<\/span><\/a> <\/span>director has helped him become a little less guarded over the years.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI cry a lot now,\u201d he told <\/span>GQ<\/span><\/a> in an interview published Nov. 12. \u201cI find a lot of life emotional in a good way.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

And what prompted the change? As the 56-year-old put it, \u201cAging. But also just having children.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Plus, he added, \u201cBeing with Greta.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Noah, the <\/span>Little Women<\/span> director\u2014who he started dating shortly after working together on the 2012 movie <\/span>Frances Ha<\/span>\u2014helped him to be a little more whimsical and \u201cstart to accept\u201d parts of his personality that he used to avoid.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWith Greta and I, we really recognize each other, even though it manifests in different ways sometimes,\u201d he continued. \u201cThat helped me gain access to, like, \u2018Actually, I <\/span>am<\/span> like that.\u2019 She\u2019s like, \u2018I love <\/span>da-da-da<\/span>.\u2019 And I\u2019m like \u2018I do too, why am I not saying I love it?\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
