Warner Bros. Pictures\u2019 highly anticipated Ocean\u2019s 14<\/a><\/strong> movie has received a brand new casting update, teasing the return of a familiar antagonist. The sequel will once again be led by Academy Award winners George Clooney<\/a>, Julia Roberts<\/a>, Matt Damon<\/a>, and Brad Pitt<\/a> as they reprise their respective roles as Danny Ocean, Tess Ocean, Linus Caldwell, and Rusty Ryan.<\/p>\n During a recent interview with TheWrap, The Godfather Part III star Andy Garcia<\/span><\/strong> confirmed that he will be returning as casino owner Terry Benedict in Ocean\u2019s 14 more than two decades since first playing the character in Ocean\u2019s Eleven<\/span>. In addition, Garcia also addressed the movie\u2019s target production start date, revealing that the studio is planning to begin filming in 2026. It was initially scheduled for January, but due to its A-list cast\u2019s busy schedule, it was slightly delayed to a later date.<\/p>\n At the moment, Ocean\u2019s 14 has no director or release date attached to it yet. Conclave director Edward Berger<\/a> previously turned down an offer to helm the project. Further details about its plot are still under wraps. In a previous interview, Clooney also confirmed that Marvel vet Don Cheadle<\/a> will also make his return as bomb expert Basher Tarr.<\/p>\n \u201cWe just got the budget approved at Warner Brothers, and we\u2019re trying to set up,\u201d Clooney said. \u201cIt\u2019s just scheduling, so it\u2019s just setting a start date for us. Probably start in about nine or ten months, shooting.\u201d<\/p>\n In the early 2000s, Steven Soderbergh directed the remake of Ocean\u2019s Eleven, which also featured a star-studded ensemble led by George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon. Due to its box-office success, it was followed by three more installments, including the spin-off Ocean\u2019s 8, which featured Sandra Bullock as Debbie Ocean, the sister of Clooney\u2019s Danny Ocean.
