WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – A national broadcast network dedicated solely to Indigenous and Native programming will soon be airing content from Indigenous cultures in the hotel rooms of guests at Comanche Red River Hotel Casino. <\/p>\n
First Nations Experience (FNX), the only national broadcast network devoted to Native American and World Indigenous programming, recently partnered with Comanche Nation Entertainment to preinstall the FNX App on all in-room Smart TVs at the Native-owned Comanche Hotel Casino. <\/p>\n
\u201cOur new partnership with the Comanche Red River Hotel Casino is a pivotal moment for us that represents a first-of-its-kind agreement with a tribally owned and operated facility,\u201d said Frank Blanquet, Producer and Director at FNX. \u201cWe\u2019re humbled and grateful for the Comanche Tribe\u2019s trust in establishing this inaugural alliance.\u201d <\/p>\n
The television station, headquartered in San Bernardino, California, delivers content produced by and for Native and Indigenous peoples, and includes documentaries, arts and culture features, children\u2019s shows and educational series that reflect the diversity and vitality of Indigenous nations across North America. It first streamed in 2014 via PBS, and is now offered for free by 29 affiliate stations across 34 states. <\/p>\n
