Hilaria Baldwin<\/strong><\/a> says that she and her husband, Alec Baldwin<\/strong><\/a>, see a therapist when their 26-year age gap creates marital disconnect.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t believe that age is just a number, at least in our situation,\u201d Hilaria, 41, revealed on the Wednesday, November 12, episode of the \u201cUncut and Uncensored<\/span><\/a>\u201d podcast.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cThere are certain things where I have to look at him and say, \u2018He has 26 more years of experience.\u2019 And sometimes that\u2019s a flex, and sometimes that means that we need to do a little therapy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/i> has reached out to Alec\u2019s rep for comment.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHilaria Baldwin got emotional following her Dancing With the Stars elimination. After getting voted off on Tuesday, October 7, Hilaria, 41, spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about how her husband, Alec Baldwin, and other loved ones supported her throughout the roller-coaster journey. \u201cHe\u2019s such a good support. He\u2019s a really good support, and I\u2019m very [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Alec, 67, began dating Hilaria, a yoga instructor, in 2011 and married her the following year. They have since welcomed seven children \u2014\u00a0Carmen, 12, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 7, Eduardo, 5, Maria, 4 and Ilaria, 3. Hilaria is also stepmom to Alec\u2019s daughter Ireland, 30, from his marriage to Kim Basinger<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe had the very notorious, complicated situation with his previous wife and with Ireland,\u201d she told podcaster Caroline Stanbury<\/strong>. \u201cI think he wanted a chance to do it in a different way and make different choices.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Hilaria said that she and the 30 Rock<\/em> alum have \u201chard moments\u201d in their marriage, but try to work through it.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDo we have our normal, marital arguments? 100 percent,\u201d she said. \u201cBut it\u2019s the desire to both want to be there and to both want to make it work. When you have that, I think you can go through anything together.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Sharing a lengthy post via Instagram on Thursday, September 4, Ireland praised the new Dancing With the Stars contestant, who is married to her dad, Alec Baldwin. \u201cI wanted to take a second to talk about my step [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hilaria admitted that she\u2019s felt lost as the wife of a celebrity with a larger-than-life persona.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI think in many ways, I did lose part of my identity when I married Alec,\u201d she said, discussing the impact of \u201cother people talking about me for the first time on a very massive level.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Hilaria said she received a solid piece of advice about navigating the spotlight in a day and age when everyone and anyone\u2019s opinions can be amplified on social media.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI posted this on my [Instagram] Stories, this woman said, \u2018You need to be able to really articulate and know what your identity is, because otherwise you\u2019re going to just get it from other people because everybody\u2019s going to have an opinion,\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cAnd this is not a famous person who\u2019s saying this. We\u2019re all the same, regardless if we\u2019re famous, not famous, whatever. We\u2019re all flesh and blood.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAlec Baldwin has had his fair share of scandals over the course of his life in the public eye.\u00a0From two arrests to the infamous voicemail he left his daughter Ireland Baldwin, the\u00a030 Rock\u00a0alum has often made headlines for his controversial behavior \u2014 and perhaps never more serious than when he was involved in the fatal [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hilaria, who recently appeared as a contestant on season 34 of ABC\u2019s Dancing With the Stars<\/i><\/a>, said she\u2019s come to terms with fame and how to handle it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t been as clear as I should have been with myself about my identity,\u201d she said, adding, \u201cPeople can say this or that. I cannot stop them. But I can know myself in a way that hopefully it won\u2019t give me that nauseous pit in my stomach that I\u2019ve experienced so many times.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s not to say that Hilaria is immune to the effects of online trolls. After getting eliminated from Dancing With the Stars<\/i> last month, she blamed her dismissal on \u201cmean girls<\/a>\u201d campaigning against her.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI guess what people were doing is they were having campaigns where they wouldn\u2019t just vote for their favorite \u2014 because you can vote 10 times for a couple \u2014 they were voting for all the other couples except us, so they were boosting everybody else and trying to drown out my fan base,\u201d Hilaria exclusively told Us Weekly <\/i>in October, referencing her professional dance partner, Gleb Savchenko<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Previously, she had spoken out via Instagram Live, telling her followers that it was \u201ccoordinated, very strategic bullying. And as I feel the darkness that undoubtedly brings to me, I always want to remember that my life belongs to the whole community and I want to leave a lasting mark of courage to speak up against what is simply wrong.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
