However, he noted that Disney, who is now the owner of 20th Television, has not yet committed to the project.<\/p>\n Gordon also reflected on the franchise\u2019s long history, including previous spin-offs and concepts that never materialized. He shared that he has explored numerous iterations over the years, from the Corey Hawkins\u2013led offshoot to pitches from multiple writers.
