King Charles III<\/strong><\/a> personally reached out to Ozzy Osbourne<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s family after the late rock legend\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

Sharon<\/strong><\/a>, Jack<\/strong><\/a> and Kelly Osbourne<\/strong><\/a> revealed on the Wednesday, November 12, episode of the \u201cOsbournes\u201d podcast<\/a> that Charles, 76, wrote them a personal letter following Ozzy\u2019s death in July<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe got a lovely letter from the king,\u201d Jack, 40, said.<\/p>\n

Sharon, 73, enthusiastically added, \u201cOur king! Now we\u2019re talking!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSharon Osbourne revealed that her late husband Ozzy Osbourne shared touching comments about his fans prior to his death. In an interview with Pollstar that was published on Tuesday, August 5, but took place on July 17, Sharon shared Ozzy\u2019s remarks about his fans following Black Sabbath\u2019s \u201cBack to the Beginning\u201d farewell concert. The gig, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cOur king, he\u2019s an amazing person. Not just because he wrote to us when Ozzy passed \u2026 if he did it for us, you know he does it for many, many, many people,\u201d she said. \u201cHere\u2019s a man who does know what\u2019s going on in the street with people, not just politics. Here\u2019s a man who cares about the environment, animals. He cares about many, many, many things. He\u2019s got a good heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sharon said that the monarch \u201cdidn\u2019t have to do certain things he\u2019s done for Ozzy,\u201d including sharing well wishes for Ozzy\u2019s birthday in the past.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Ozzy was sick in hospital with the motorbike accident, he reached out,\u201d Sharon said. \u201cHe\u2019s a good, caring man with a good heart. Ozzy, as me\u2026 we\u2019re royalists. We respect him, we respect his family. We respect. He took the time out of his day to write us, have it hand-delivered to us, a note from the king for Ozzy\u2019s passing with his condolences. And that says so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelly, 41, shared that she also received a handwritten letter from late-night talk show host Jimmy Fallon<\/strong>. \u201cThere\u2019s so many people that we can go on and on and on about that I never expected to hear from,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tOzzy Osbourne\u2019s legendary impact on rock music was acknowledged even in his job title on his death certificate. According to PageSix, the official death certificate for the self-proclaimed \u201cPrince of Darkness\u201d listed his profession as \u201csongwriter, performer and rock legend.\u201d It was previously reported that Osbourne\u2019s official cause of death was ruled to be a [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ozzy died on July 22 at age 76 after a yearslong battle with Parkinson\u2019s disease<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,\u201d his family told Us Weekly<\/em> in a statement at the time. \u201cHe was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a September YouTube video, Jack opened up about finding out about his father\u2019s death<\/a> while in Los Angeles. (Ozzy died in his native U.K.)<\/p>\n
