Amy Schumer<\/strong><\/a> is speaking out after erasing photos of herself pre-weight loss<\/a> from social media.<\/p>\n Schumer, 44, addressed the \u201cnarrative\u201d about her decision in an Instagram<\/a> post on Wednesday, November 12, insisting she \u201cdidn\u2019t delete my old photos because they were pre me losing weight.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m proud of how I\u2019ve looked always. I have been working to be pain free and I finally am,\u201d Schumer continued. \u201cMy endometriosis is better. My back is healing. I no longer have Cushing syndrome so my face went back to normal. I am grateful to be strong and healthy especially for my son.\u201d<\/p>\n The actress pointed out that \u201cyour Instagram is not your identity\u201d but instead \u201ca curation of what you want the world to see.\u201d She also noted that it\u2019s \u201cfun\u201d to share herself feeling \u201cstrong and beautiful\u201d with her fans.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t purposely go on a \u2018weight loss journey\u2019 that\u2019s a fine thing to go on. But my focus has been on health,\u201d she explained. \u201cI\u2019m sure my weight will always fluctuate. I\u2019m a perimenopausal woman on hrt meds. Wishing you strength and self love on whatever path you\u2019re on as long as it\u2019s kind and respectful to all people. No matter their weight race or religion peace!\u201d<\/p>\n One day prior, Schumer posted a series of pics posing in a red Maison Valentino dress that showed her slim figure<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI actually left my house tonight. Who\u2019s proud?\u201d she wrote in the caption. \u201cI\u2019m feeling good and happy. Deleted my old pics for no reason!\u201d<\/p>\n Famous pals hyped her up in the comments section, including Kathy Hilton<\/strong>, Uzo Aduba<\/strong> and Leslie Mann<\/strong>, all of whom dropped fire emojis on the post.<\/p>\n Schumer has been candid through the years about her body, detailing her experience with the FDA-approved GLP-1 drug Mounjaro<\/a> via Instagram in March.<\/p>\n \u201cThree years ago, I tried [semaglutide drug] Wegovy,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cI was puking, I couldn\u2019t handle it. I don\u2019t know if they\u2019ve changed the formula, whatever. But anyway, I went on this telehealth meeting with [virtual care clinic] Midi Health, and it was cheap.
