Country artist Morgan Wade has decided to take a much-needed break after playing more than 500 shows over the past three and a half years.<\/p>\n
The 30-year-old singer told fans that she plans \u201cto take a little break from touring and work on some new things\u201d in an Instagram video<\/a> posted on Nov. 6. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m going to be taking some time off from touring,\u201d Wade said. \u201cI\u2019m not going to be doing as much as I have been. There are a lot of things that I\u2019m working on outside of the music world. There are a lot of things that I haven\u2019t had time to do, and I\u2019m going to go do that and take a bit of a vacation and experience some life.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued by saying, \u201cIt\u2019s going to be a little different next year than it has been\u201d and thanking her fans for their support and dedication.<\/p>\n \u201cI have been to a lot of places that this small town girl never thought that she would get to go to,\u201d Wade said in the video. \u201cI have done a lot of things. I have met a lot of people. And I couldn\u2019t have done any of that without you guys buying tickets and listening to my songs. I\u2019m forever grateful for that. So I really just want to say thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n Wade first broke into the country music scene in 2018 with her self-released album, \u201cPuppets with My Heart.\u201d She followed up with \u201cReckless,\u201d her full-length debut solo album, in March 2021. The project reached No. 8 on Billboard\u2019s folk albums chart while its lead single \u201cWilder Days\u201d performed well on the country charts and was certified platinum<\/a> by the RIAA. <\/p>\n Wade has since released three more albums \u2014 “Psychopath” in 2023 \u201cObsessed\u201d in 2024 and \u201cThe Party Is Over (Recovered)\u201d in 2025 \u2014 and worked with bigger artists such as Diplo and Kip Moore.
