Ice Spice<\/a> is heading to Bikini Bottom in the new SpongeBob movie.<\/p>\nOn Thursday, Nov. 13, Paramount Pictures debuted the trailer for The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Squarepants<\/a>, which sees Nickelodeon’s iconic sea sponge and his best friend Patrick Star set out on an adventure with The Flying Dutchman (voiced by Mark Hamill.)<\/p>\n“Desperate to be a big guy, SpongeBob sets out to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs by following The Flying Dutchman \u2013 a mysterious swashbuckling ghost pirate \u2013 on a seafaring comedy-adventure that takes him to the deepest depths of the deep sea, where no Sponge has gone before,” reads an official synopsis for the film.<\/p>\n
Isis Gaston, a.k.a. Ice Spice, appears briefly in the trailer seemingly as a fish that works at Bikini Bottom High School, after Mr. Krabs and Squidward visit the school to rescue SpongeBob from his perilous adventure. The movie marks Ice Spice’s debut as a voice actor, and she also released a new single titled “Big Guy” to accompany the movie.<\/p>\n
