A new Irish-American bar and live music venue is preparing to open in Glasgow city centre this weekend. RADIO, on Renfield Street, will officially launch this Friday (21 November), with a focus on live entertainment, sport and New York-style pizza served by the slice.<\/p>\n
The venue is the latest project from hospitality duo Stevie McColm and Adam Coakley, and will open seven days a week from 12 noon until 3am. Spread over multiple floors, RADIO promises a blend of daytime sport screenings and late-night music.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is more than just a bar \u2014 RADIO is built for live music lovers, sports fans, and late-night crowds alike,\u201d said co-owners Stevie McColm and Adam Coakley. \u201cWe wanted to create a space that feels alive all day \u2014 where you can watch the game with a pint at noon, catch a live act in the evening, and still be dancing long after midnight.\u201d<\/p>\n
As well as screening major football and rugby matches across multiple screens, the venue will serve Guinness and Murphy\u2019s on draught, cocktails and pizza. A mix of live music, DJs and acoustic sets is planned throughout the week.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
