Lady Gaga covers ‘Rolling Stone’ December 2025 (Greg Swales)<\/p>\n
Lady Gaga<\/strong> is having a good week: On Nov. 7 she was nominated for seven Grammys, and now she’s landed on\u00a0the cover of<\/a> Rolling Stone for the fourth time in her career.\u00a0In the cover story<\/a>, Gaga discusses her Mayhem album and tour, her relationship with\u00a0fianc\u00e9\u00a0Michael Polansky<\/strong> and more.<\/p>\n According to Rolling Stone, Gaga and Polansky, who got engaged in 2024, plan on “getting married soon, either during the tour or just after.” Polansky tells the publication, “We have these breaks, and they\u2019re tempting. It\u2019s like, \u2018OK, can we get married that weekend?\u2019 We don\u2019t want a really big wedding, but we want to enjoy it. In a lot of ways, we already feel married, so it\u2019s not like it\u2019s gonna change much.\u201d<\/p>\n And after marriage will come children. \u201cBeing a mom is the thing I want the most,\u201d Gaga says. \u201cAnd [Michael is] gonna be a beautiful father. We\u2019re really excited about that.\u201d<\/p>\n But being happy and in love \u2014 what she describes as a “healthy, whole person” \u2014 has been a long journey for Gaga. “I did\u00a0A Star Is Born\u00a0on lithium,\u201d she shares, adding that after shooting that film, she had what she calls “a psychotic break.”<\/p>\n “I couldn\u2019t do anything \u2026 I completely crashed. It was really scary. There was a time where I didn\u2019t think I could get better.\u2026 I feel really lucky to be alive. I know that might sound dramatic, but we know how this can go.\u201d<\/p>\n While making Mayhem, she notes, “It was months and months and months of rediscovering everything that I\u2019d lost. And I honestly think that\u2019s why it\u2019s called\u00a0Mayhem.\u00a0Because what it took to get it back was crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n She adds, “Being in love with someone that cares about the real me made a very big difference.”<\/p>\n Copyright \u00a9 2025, ABC Audio.
