A man rushed Ariana Grande on the red carpet at the Singapore premiere of \u201cWicked: For Good\u201d on Thursday, grabbing the singer before her co-star Cynthia Erivo intervened, PEOPLE<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n Videos<\/a> from the event at Universal Studios Singapore show a man in a white shirt and shorts sprinting toward Grande as she walked the yellow brick road-themed carpet. He grabbed Grande and pulled her close while she tried to break free.<\/p>\n Erivo, who plays Elphaba in the film, quickly moved between Grande and the man and appeared to shout at him. Security personnel then removed the man from the area.<\/p>\n Grande appeared shaken afterward, with Erivo and fellow co-star Michelle Yeoh offering comfort.<\/p>\n The man was identified by fans as Johnson Wen, who goes by \u201cPyjama Man\u201d online and has repeatedly crashed celebrity events.<\/p>\n He jumped onstage with Katy Perry in June and interrupted a concert by The Weeknd in August. Wen posted video of the incident on Instagram<\/a> with the caption, \u201cDear Ariana Grande Thank You for letting me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You.\u201d<\/p>\n The incident comes years after Grande experienced trauma from the 2017 bombing at her Manchester concert<\/a> that killed 22 people. She has been open about her ongoing struggles with PTSD and anxiety.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, it\u2019s a real thing. I know those families and my fans, and everyone there experienced a tremendous amount of it as well,\u201d Grande told British Vogue<\/a> in 2018.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s hard to talk about because so many people have suffered such severe, tremendous loss,\u201d she added. \u201cI feel like I shouldn\u2019t even be talking about my own experience \u2013 like I shouldn\u2019t even say anything.
