He also called the accident \u201cterrifying\u201d and \u201cvery, very scary.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Mark Wahlberg\u2019s daughter Grace in the hospital following a horseback riding incident. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/@gracewahlberg<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a very, very dangerous sport, but she\u2019s so passionate about it,\u201d continued Wahlberg. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll she wanted to do was get back on that horse, no pun intended. But she was chomping at the bit, and worried that we would deem the sport too dangerous. But she\u2019s so passionate, so dedicated.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_10-0\">The \u201cFamily Plan\u201d star added that Grace, 15, has the \u201cdiscipline of getting up at 4 o\u2019clock every morning, going to to the barn seven days a week, doing whatever she has to do to care for the horses, and training and everything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wahlberg and his wife, Rhea Durham, are also parents of Ella, 22, Michael, 19, and Brendan, 17.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Mark Wahlberg and his daughter Grace at her equestrian competition.  <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/@markwahlberg<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_22-0\">Grace first detailed the incident\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DQlAp4YEYOq\/?img_index=1\">in an Instagram post<\/a> on November 3.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_24-0\">\u201cNo pressure we will be back,\u201d she captioned the carousel, which included pictures of herself with her arm in a sling in the hospital. Grace also included images from past competitions.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Grace Wahlberg poses with her horse.  <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/@gracewahlberg<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Wahlberg commented with praying, crying and broken heart emojis. <\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_24-0\">Last year, Wahlberg posted a\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DCg8erxudjP\/?igsh=MTJqbWx1bmw0YW80aA%3D%3D\">video to Instagram<\/a> and confessed he had \u201cnever been more nervous, anxious, or stressed at any sporting event in my life\u201d while watching Grace compete.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the actor, who tied the knot with Durham, 47, in 2009, has been vocal about allowing his kids to pursue their passions. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Mark Wahlberg\u2019s daughter Grace holds up her winning ribbon. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/@markwahlberg<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_5-0\">\u201cI want to give my kids the world, but I also want them to appreciate everything, to succeed, to be good people, to enjoy life,\u201d Wahlberg explained to <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bostoncommon-magazine.com\/celebrities\/articles\/mark-wahlberg-juggles-fatherhood-and-hollywood\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Boston Common<\/a> in 2011. \u201cThis is\u00a0my most important role.
