Partnering with Propstore\u2019s Auctions, Van Der Beek<\/a> will auction off several items from the hit TV show to help fund his battle against cancer. The actor has been battling stage 3 colon cancer<\/a> since August 2023. <\/p>\n In a statement on the auction website<\/a>, Van Der Beek said he felt now was the ideal time to sell some of these items. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been storing these treasures for years, waiting for the right time to do something with them, and with all of the recent unexpected twists and turns life has presented recently, it\u2019s clear that the time is now,\u201d the statement reads. \u201cAnd while I have some nostalgia tugging at me as I part with these items, it feels good to be able to offer them through Propstore\u2019s auction to share with those who have supported my work over the years.\u201d<\/p>\n On Dec. 6, the \u201890s star\u2019s items will be a part of Propstore\u2019s Winter Entertainment Memorabilia auction event. Below are the items being auctioned from Van Der Beek. <\/p>\n Van Der Beek\u2019s cancer diagnosis came quite unexpectedly for the actor. As he said previously, he had ignored the first symptom, a change in his bowel movements.
