Charli XCX<\/a> has officially announced\u00a0Wuthering Heights<\/em>, a new album accompanying Emerald Fennell\u2019s 2026 film adaptation<\/a> of Emily Bront\u00eb\u2019s classic novel<\/a>. She\u2019s also released another new song from the project, titled \u201cChains of Love.\u201d Stream the track below.<\/p>\n Out February 13th, 2026, to coincide with the theatrical release of Wuthering Heights<\/em>, the project features 12 original songs, including the recently released John Cale collaboration \u201cHouse.\u201d<\/a> Pre-order your physical copy here<\/a>.<\/p>\n The moody \u201cChains of Love\u201d hearkens back to the sound of Charli\u2019s 2013 debut album, True Romance<\/em>, with her filtered vocals floating atop\u00a0synthpop production. \u201cThe chains of love are cruel,\u201d she croons. \u201cI shouldn\u2019t feel like a prisoner\/ My face is turning blue\/ Can\u2019t breathe without you here.\u201d<\/p>\n Related Video<\/p>\n \u201cChains of Love\u201d soundtracks the new trailer for Wuthering Heights<\/em>, featuring Margot Robbie\u2019s Cathy and Jacob Elordi\u2019s Heathcliff as star-crossed lovers. Previewing the \u201cgreatest love story of all time,\u201d the clip is as over-the-top and dramatic as one would hope, with lustful stares, plenty of tears, impassioned dialogue, and, of course, teasers for the sex scenes to come (pun intended?).
