The song is a quite the heel-turn from the preceding single, with not a distorted vocal, allusion to death, or horrified scream to be found. Instead, Charli\u2019s latest offering is much more pop-leaning \u2014 thanks to its bombastic drums, instantly-memorable melodies, and melancholic orchestra \u2014 while still delivering on her earlier promise that the soundtrack will be \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nylon.com\/entertainment\/charli-xcx-new-song-house-wuthering-heights\" class=\"T3D\">entirely opposite of <\/a><em><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nylon.com\/entertainment\/charli-xcx-new-song-house-wuthering-heights\" class=\"T3D\">Brat<\/a>.<\/em>\u201d In short, it\u2019s pretty much the perfect song to feature in a trailer about the greatest love story ever told.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShattering like glass \/ Yes, they&#8217;re breaking up my heart \/ The chains of love are cruel \/ I shouldn&#8217;t feel like a prisoner,\u201d she sings in the chorus.<\/p>\n<p>Charli also announced the full <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nylon.com\/entertainment\/charli-xcx-new-song-house-wuthering-heights\" class=\"T3D\"><em>Wuthering Heights<\/em> album<\/a> drops on Feb. 13, the same day as the film.
