Avalon Emerson<\/a> has shared a new song. \u201cEden<\/a>\u201d is the DJ and producer\u2019s first release under her Avalon Emerson & the Charm moniker since her 2023 dream-pop album<\/a> of the same name. It\u2019s out on Dead Oceans<\/a> and arrives with a music video directed by Ben Turok<\/a>. We glide over a teeming riverbed of relationships and love, revealing the path itself is the point,\u201d Emerson said in a press release. \u201c\u2018Eden\u2019 came from the first studio session I had with Bullion<\/a> after the last \u2018& the Charm\u2019 live tour in late 2023. That day in London made me realize that making this kind of music is not just a detour from DJing and dance music, but the entrance to a deep cave, full of passages to wander.\u201d<\/p>\n After signing to Dead Oceans earlier this year, Emerson launched the singles series Perpetual Emotion Machine<\/em><\/a>. As part of the series, she formally released \u201cE After Next<\/a>,\u201d a rework of Moby<\/a>\u2019s \u201cNext Is the E\u201d that had become a staple of her DJ sets. Emerson is set to play a brief run of & the Charm shows in Europe and the United Kingdom beginning in late March of next year.
