Lewis Capaldi<\/a> has released a cathartic new single, \u2018The Day That I Die\u2019, from his new EP, \u2018Survive\u2019.<\/p>\n The emotional song from Capaldi is his fourth since his comeback, following on from \u2018Survive\u2019<\/a>, \u2018Something In The Heavens<\/a>\u2019 and \u2018Almost<\/a>\u2018.<\/p>\n All the tracks have been described in a statement as his \u201cmost raw and personal songs to date\u201d, and together make up his new EP \u2018Survive\u2019, which is out today (November 14).<\/p>\n Over a stripped-back, melancholic piano, Capaldi sings: \u201cOn the day that I leave, I hope the memories find you happy\/ And my dad ain\u2019t too mad at me, to say the least\/ Pray my sister gets to sleep\/ I wish I could have said it better, what all those times we had together meant to me<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n Check it out below.<\/p>\n\n
