Glen Powell finally went on \u201cHot Ones\u201d this week after long wanting to take on the Wings of Death. Unfortunately (or fortunately), however, the interview quickly went awry when the \u201cThe Running Man<\/a>\u201d star and Sean Evans suffered from a hilarious bit of miscommunication.<\/p>\n The faux pas came when Evans began asking Powell to explain action movie lingo, going through on-set terms that the common audience may not be aware of. When Evans tried to ask about the term \u201cjerk vest\u201d Powell looked ready to spit out his wings.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m sorry, what?!\u201d Powell asked. He later clarified: \u201cI thought you said jerk-fest!\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n It\u2019s a hilarious moment, one that completely derails the interview as Powell fights to gain his composure. While Evans simply wanted to ask about the stunt equipment (a harness that yanks actors on a wire) and other terms like \u201cwet down,\u201d Powell remained stuck on the double entendre.<\/p>\n \u201cOh my God. I\u2019m like, \u2018That\u2019s how you make it in Hollywood!’\u201d Powell laughed. \u201cOh s\u2013t! We don\u2019t talk about that!\u201d<\/p>\n The moment was a highlight of an already deranged video, featuring a profusely-sweaty Powell struggling to answer questions as he eats entire wings in rapid fashion. At the end of the video, Powell accidentally doused his final wing in hot sauce for the last dab, with Evans repeatedly begging the movie star to dry the wing out a bit more.<\/p>\n \u201cI always get accused of spanking too hard,\u201d Powell said. \u201cThat was so weird. Why\u2019d I say that?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBlame it on the sauce!\u201d Evans responded.<\/p>\n \u201cBlame it on the sauce,\u201d Powell agreed. \u201cGuys, I blacked out.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier in the video, Powell relayed another lapse of social grace \u2014 this time, related to his mother. When Evans asked about Powell\u2019s parents\u2019 cameos in his films, the actor noted that his mother was most proud of her appearance in \u201cChad Powers,\u201d where she plays a woman who comically moans in a hospital waiting room. As she prepared for the role, Powell said that his mother would send him clips of her \u201cpracticing moaning.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThere was this one time where I was walking around, I was looking at the video of my mom, you know, practicing the moan, and somebody, like, observed me.
