Charli XCX has shared a new song titled Chains Of Love.<\/p>\n
The haunting synth-pop track serves as the latest preview of\u00a0the Grammy, BRIT and\u00a0Ivor Novello-Award winner’s newly announced album written for Emerald Fennell’s upcoming adaptation of Emily Bront\u00eb\u2019s\u00a0classic novel Wuthering Heights.<\/p>\n
The singer first teased the project earlier this week alongside the release of House<\/a>, a collaboration with The Velvet Underground icon John Cale. She’s now taken to social media<\/a> to confirm\u00a0the album’s release for February 13, with the film, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as Catherine and Heathcliff, set to screen in UK cinemas on February 11\u00a0and the US on February 13. Last year, Charli dropped her sixth album, ‘Brat’, followed by the deluxe version, ‘Brat And It’s the Same But There’s Three More Songs So It’s Not’, and later a star-studded remix edition, ‘Brat And It\u2019s Completely Different But Also Still Brat’.<\/p>\n
Since her ‘Brat’ era, she has been working\u00a0on a number of other film projects and\u00a0will star in the upcoming A24 film\u00a0The Moment, based on her original idea, due out next year.<\/p>\n
