KIRTLAND, Ohio \u2013 Lake Metroparks Farmpark is kicking off its inaugural Holiday Ice & Lights Festival.<\/p>\n
It is scheduled to take place noon to 9 p.m. Friday to Sunday, Nov. 28-30.<\/p>\n
The fest combines lights and a bit of North Pole magic for visitors of all ages. Activities include:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus in a festive sleigh.<\/p>\n
\u2022 An intricate North Pole train display from the Northern Ohio Garden Railway Society. <\/p>\n
\u2022 A cookie-decorating workshop where families can decorate Mrs. Claus\u2019 famous sugar cookies (small fee).<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ice carvers shaping blocks of ice into seasonal sculptures.<\/p>\n
\u2022 A wagon ride and holiday-themed equine show.<\/p>\n
Local vendors will sell seasonal drinks and treats.<\/p>\n
