Celebrity medium Tyler Henry is recovering after undergoing his second brain surgery<\/a> in the last six months. <\/p>\n The Hollywood Medium<\/em> star, 29, had a \u201ccyst growing in his brain\u201d removed, according to his husband<\/a>, Clint Godwin, who took to Instagram<\/a> on Thursday with an update on Henry\u2019s health. <\/p>\n \u201cAs you might remember, my husband, Tyler Henry, underwent surgery in May 2025 to remove a cyst growing in his brain,\u201d Godwin wrote. \u201cHowever, over the past month, symptoms of swelling slowly returned.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cTyler\u2019s medical team decided that another surgery to address the recurring cyst and swelling was the best option,\u201d he went on, revealing that Henry has been \u201crecovering well\u201d since the surgery.<\/p>\n In the caption of his post, Godwin concluded, \u201c@tylerhenrymedium and I are so thankful for all the support shown to us over the last couple days. We feel so loved by so many. They say the third time is a charm!\u201d<\/p>\n The most recent procedure is Henry\u2019s third brain surgery overall, with his first taking place in 2014 when he was 18. The medium<\/a> previously reflected on the surgery in a 2023 Instagram post<\/a>, revealing that surgeons removed a \u201ccongenital brain cyst\u201d after discovering it on an MRI.<\/p>\n \u201cA mass I was born with was only now causing a life-threatening situation as my adult life was just beginning,\u201d he wrote at the time, adding, \u201cWithout the inevitable brain surgery that ensued, I don\u2019t think I would of had such a firsthand awareness of the fragility of life. It was an intimate reminder for me of the fine line dividing this realm and the next.\u201d<\/p>\n In May, Henry had a \u201ccolloid tumor near the center of [his] brain\u201d removed. <\/p>\n A colloid cyst is a \u201cbenign, fluid-filled sac that arises in the area of the brain known as the third ventricle,\u201d according to Columbia University<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cBrain surgery was a success!\u201d the Between Two Worlds<\/em> author wrote on Instagram while recovering. \u201cGreat prognosis, incredible staff, and I feel so thankful to be surrounded by my family. I\u2019ll be on bedrest for a month and look forward to getting back to doing readings.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
