Swimsuit designer Martha Nolan-O\u2019Slatarra<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s final text messages have been revealed months after she was found dead on a boat at the age of 33.<\/p>\n

According to a New York Magazine <\/i><\/a>profile published earlier this month, Nolan had been texting investor Christopher Durnan<\/strong> about his involvement in her and business partner Dylan Grace<\/strong>\u2019s East x East line shortly before her death.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you guys are looking for more money, let\u2019s sit down and talk about it,\u201d Durnan, 60, allegedly wrote to Nolan, who ultimately agreed to meet the businessman alone while Grace, 30, was out of town in August.<\/p>\n

Grace, who spoke to the outlet, claimed that Nolan met Durnan on his boat at the Montauk Yacht Club.<\/p>\n

\u201cMartha does what Martha wants \u2026 or did,\u201d Grace recalled, revealing that her friend stopped answering her phone while out on the boat.<\/p>\n

Grace said Nolan sent her boyfriend, Nick DiRubio<\/strong>, a text that she planned to order an Uber home at 1 a.m. the next morning. By 9:20 p.m. that night, Nolan went quiet in her and Grace\u2019s group chat with their other friends.<\/p>\n

\u201cLol I\u2019m at the yacht club now, my phone is on,\u201d Nolan responded 10 minutes later.<\/p>\n

Another hour went by, and Nolan was found dead aboard the boat<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was gone almost immediately,\u201d Durnan\u2019s lawyer Robert Holdman<\/strong> told the magazine, claiming that his client performed CPR after believing Nolan had a heart attack. \u201cShe was nonresponsive. \u2026 Chris is distraught. He watched his friend die in trauma. He\u2019s absolutely destroyed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Holdman continued, \u201cIt all happened immediately. She passed away<\/a>, and everything went down from there. He went running to go look for help. He tried CPR \u2014 like it all happened, one right after another. There was no pause.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nolan and Grace met Durnan in 2022 when they pitched him their idea for East x East. He subsequently agreed to financially back the swimsuit brand.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe really liked Martha, and he wanted to help her succeed. She was a good friend,\u201d Holdman told New York Magazine<\/i>. \u201cHe was hopeful, and he liked her energy and liked the way she presented it to him.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Holdman, his client and Nolan briefly dated ahead of her death.<\/p>\n
