She added: “It’s not a positive to come out of it at all, but it makes you so much more aware that the exterior of someone can be very different from what’s going on inside.”<\/p>\n
Katy Skerrett, senior coroner for Gloucestershire, revealed via the inquest last year that Thomas died from adverse effects of medication that he had recently started.<\/p>\n
She said: “The evidence of his wife, family and business partner all supports his lack of suicidal intent. He was suffering adverse effects of medication he had recently been prescribed.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ahead of the one-year anniversary of Thomas’ death, his parents, Jill and Martin, appeared on Radio 4.<\/p>\n
Recalling the “cold February day”, Jill shared that they had spent time having lunch and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon.<\/p>\n
Martin then recalled how Jill then couldn’t find Thomas, before adding, “I would have difficulty explaining to you what it was like without crying”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
