And while viewers anxiously await the midseason premiere, new stats from Nielsen, shared by<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/11\/high-potential-season-2-premiere-35-day-audience-growth-1236617608\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Deadline;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"> Deadline<\/a>, reveal\u00a0<em>High Potential<\/em>\u2018s second season is an even bigger success than its first.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The show\u2019s Season 2 premiere episode, which originally aired on September 16 of this year, has grown in viewership to 17.23 million with multiplatform viewers after 35 days across ABC, Hulu, Disney+, and other platforms, per Nielsen via Deadline. Those numbers reveal a 17 percent increase over last year\u2019s series premiere of the show, which pulled in 14.71 million viewers over 35 days.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The numbers are also an 11 percent increase over the Season 1 average audience of 15.52 million viewers. On average, the show is bringing in roughly 12.38 million viewers per episode after seven days in Season 2. That\u2019s an increase of 19 percent over Season 1, which averaged 10.38 million viewers with that same seven-day window.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Despite having a strong lead-in with <em><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/show\/dancing-with-the-stars\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Dancing With the Stars;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Dancing With the Stars<\/a><\/em> airing right before\u00a0<em>High Potential<\/em> on Tuesdays, a big bulk of the show\u2019s audience comes from other sources, outside of the ABC broadcast.
