As previously reported, the deluxe versions of the reissue include some previously unreleased tracks from the <em>Black and Blue<\/em> sessions.<\/p>\n<p>One of these rare recordings is a soulful, grooving Mick Jagger-Keith Richards composition called \u201cI Love Ladies.\u201d Coinciding with the release of the <em>Black and Blue<\/em> reissues, a visualizer video for \u201cI Love Ladies\u201d has debuted at The Rolling Stones\u2019 official <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=4JaXrskiTSs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">YouTube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/americansongwriter.com\/watch-a-rare-1976-video-of-the-rolling-stones-performing-their-hit-ballad-fool-to-cry-featuring-mick-jagger-on-piano\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">[RELATED: Watch a Rare 1976 Video of The Rolling Stones Performing Their Hit Ballad \u201cFool to Cry,\u201d Featuring Mick Jagger on Piano]<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The video features blue-tinted archival performance footage of The Stones, as well as kaleidoscopic animations that include the band\u2019s famous tongue-and-lips logo. The track features Jagger shifting into a funky falsetto for parts of the tune. \u201cI Love Ladies\u201d also was given the alternate titles \u201cLovely Ladies\u201d and \u201cSexy Night.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI Love Ladies\u201d is featured on a disc titled <em>Outtakes and Jams<\/em> that\u2019s part of the deluxe <em>Black and Blue<\/em> reissues. The disc also includes an unreleased cover of the 1974 Shirley &amp; Company disco hit \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Ylq-seLHqKs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shame Shame Shame<\/a>,\u201d plus jam sessions featuring Jeff Beck other guest guitarists who were auditioning to replace Mick Taylor in The Stones at the time.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio  is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\"\/>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-more-about-the-black-and-blue-reissues\">More About the <em>Black and Blue<\/em> Reissues<\/h3>\n<p>The <em>Black and Blue<\/em> reissue are available in multiple configurations and formats.<\/p>\n<p>They include \u201cSuper Deluxe\u201d five-LP vinyl and four-CD box sets, both also featuring a Blu-ray; two-CD and two-LP packages; and single-CD and single-LP releases. All versions will feature a new remix of the original eight-song album created by studio whiz Steven Wilson.<\/p>\n<p>The CD and vinyl box sets also feature the aforementioned previously unreleased studio recordings and jams from the <em>Black and Blue<\/em> sessions, and rare live performances from 1976. The box sets come with a 100-page hardback book featuring a new essay by Stones expert Paul Sexton, photos from the album sessions and supporting tour, and a replica of a 1976 concert poster.<\/p>\n<p>The Super Deluxe collection also features a full recording of a concert the band played during a six-night residency at London\u2019s Earls Court Exhibition Centre in May 1976.<\/p>\n<p>The Blu-ray features video of a 1976 Paris concert titled <em>Les Rolling Stones aux Abattoirs, Paris \u2013 Juin 1976<\/em>. The concert took place at the Pavillon de Paris, known informally as Les Abattoirs (The Slaughterhouses) because the space had once been used by a slaughterhouses and meat-packing business. The performance originally was broadcast on French television.<\/p>\n<p>A limited-edition version of the vinyl box set featuring discs pressed on black-and-blue-marbled vinyl also is available from select online retailers.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-more-about-black-and-blue\">More About <em>Black and Blue<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Released in May 1976, <em>Black and Blue<\/em> was The Rolling Stones\u2019 15th U.S. studio effort. The album debuted at No. 1 on the <em>Billboard<\/em> 200, becoming the band\u2019s sixth U.S. chart-topper.<\/p>\n<p>The Stones released two singles from the record, \u201cFool to Cry\u201d and the funky \u201cHot Stuff.\u201d \u201cHot Stuff\u201d only reached No. 49 on the Hot 100.<\/p>\n<p>Other standout tracks included the reggae cover \u201cCherry Oh Baby\u201d and the melodic ballad \u201cMemory Motel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Black and Blue<\/em> was recorded during a transitional period for The Stones following the 1974 departure of guitarist Mick Taylor.
