SALT LAKE CITY<\/em> \u2013 Roughly six weeks after announcing their new sign policy at Delta Center, Smith Entertainment Group provided some further clarity on their intentions.<\/p>\n Per SEG, there will be no plans to reevaluate the Delta Center sign policy.<\/p>\n \u2013 The policy is to create an ideal & consistent fan experience for the most people. \u2014 Cole Bagley (@BagleyKSLsports) November 15, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Following the lower bowl renovations at Delta Center this summer, Smith Entertainment Group decided to take a step back and evaluate how they could create the most consistent fan experience across all of their brands.<\/p>\n According to SEG, this led to the conclusion that removing signs would lead to the best fan experience for the most people.<\/p>\n In turn, the organization offers alternative ways for fans to interact in the arena with opportunities such as \u201cfirst game\u201d buttons, celebrating birthdays on the video board and a chance to still interact at the glass during warm-ups in order to receive pucks or sticks from Mammoth players.<\/p>\n Notably, there will also be certain exceptions to the sign rule such as \u2018Hockey Fights Cancer Night\u2019 where signs will be allowed throughout the arena in order to collectively show support towards family and friends battling the disease.<\/p>\n Despite some push back on the sign policy, SEG noted that this decision aligns with their efforts to listen to the fans in order to create the most ideal experience for everyone in the arena.<\/p>\n After conducting research in the United States and internationally across numerous arenas, venues and other teams (NBA and NHL), SEG concluded that removing signs was in the best interest of the arena as a whole.<\/p>\n Currently, there are no plans to re-evaluate this policy.<\/p>\n The Utah Mammoth will face the Anaheim Ducks on the road on Monday night at 8 p.m. MT.<\/p>\n The game will be available on Mammoth+.<\/p>\n\n
