Police have not yet publicly identified the person who died.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to Sgt. Phil DiMartino, a police spokesman, the driver of the SUV remained on scene after the crash and has been cooperating with the investigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">DiMartino said in an email that the crash marks Kansas City\u2019s 58th traffic fatality in 2025.
