The Princess of Wales has spoken about \u201clearning to let go of what is no longer needed\u201d and \u201cembrace change\u201d in a personal new video message.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a challenging couple of years for 43-year-old Kate, who revealed she\u2019d been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer early last year, and later underwent months of chemotherapy. <\/p>\n

She announced in January that she was in remission.<\/p>\n

In a short film released via Kensington Palace<\/a> as part of her \u201cMother Nature\u201d series, Kate described autumn as a season for \u201creflection and refinement\u201d and encouraged people to \u201cembrace the beauty found in change\u201d.<\/p>\n

The princess appeared alongside chef Gill Meller and local school students to cook and chat around a bonfire in Windsor Great Park.<\/p>\n

It comes after Kate announced the theme of her annual \u201cTogether at Christmas\u201d charity carol service at Westminster Abbey next month would be \u201ccelebrating love in all its forms\u201d.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kate and Prince William are in the midst of a major change themselves, having just moved from Adelaide Cottage to their new \u201cforever home\u201d, the eight-bedroom Forest Lodge, in Windsor Great Park with their children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.<\/p>\n

When news of the relocation first emerged in August, insiders told The Sun<\/i> the couple was hoping for a \u201cfresh start\u201d after a difficult period during which the late Queen died and both the King and Kate were diagnosed with cancer.<\/p>\n

\u201cWindsor has become their home,\u201d a source told The Sun<\/i>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHowever, over the last few years while they have lived at Adelaide Cottage there have been some really difficult times.<\/p>\n

\u201cMoving gives them an opportunity for a fresh start and a new chapter; an opportunity to leave some of the more unhappy memories behind. This is a move for the long-term. They see it as their forever home.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Wales\u2019 first moved from Kensington Palace in London to Windsor in 2022. Their new home is less than 10 kilometres from Adelaide Cottage.<\/p>\n
