If you are looking to head out for a nice day and maybe thinking about dining out there is one restaurant you can be sure you won\u2019t run into country music star Walker Hayes at.<\/p>\n
Hayes might be known for his hit song \u201cFancy Like,\u201d which really preaches the value of a good night at Applebee\u2019s, but when it comes to the popular restaurant he has had his fill.<\/p>\n
The country music star made the revelation in an interview with Taste of Country earlier this year. <\/p>\n
Hayes\u2019 hit song goes, \u201cYeah, we fancy like Applebee\u2019s on a date night\/Got that Bourbon Street steak with the Oreo shake\/Get some whipped cream on the top, too\/Two straws, one check, girl, I got you.\u201d<\/p>\n
And per Taste of Country, Hayes has himself an Applebee\u2019s gold card which gives him free food from the restaurant for life. So, he was asked if he still uses it.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know man, Applebee\u2019s was so good to us, and they always are \u2026 but you know, you fatigue of a restaurant, you know what I mean?\u201d<\/p>\n
He compared it to a time when he worked at the Macaroni Grill.<\/p>\n
\u201cI mean the food is solid and the service is amazing \u2014 the whole brand is amazing \u2014 but if I just email Macaroni Grill then I need to drive to another town,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I think we\u2019re there on Applebee\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n
The singer told Taste of Country he and his family hammered Applebee\u2019s at one point, leading to the fatigue. <\/p>\n
\u201cCrushed it, so hard,\u201d he said. \u201cWe did meet and greets there, we\u2019ve had to-go boxes with steaks, we\u2019ve had so many Oreo shakes, you would not believe. <\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019d be fine if I never ate another Oreo again.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hayes really made it clear that has had a whole lot of Applebee\u2019s in his day, and we have all been there with fatigue on eating something.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s funny how something great and awesome, and one day you jus wake up and it\u2019s like, \u2018I can\u2019t, I can\u2019t do it again,\u2019\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
