Hailey Bieber<\/b><\/a> no longer lends her name<\/b> to a popular smoothie sold by Erewhon – but this appears not to have stopped customers from flocking to the high-end Los Angeles grocery chain to buy the drink.<\/p>\n

\u201cSkin supporting\u201d drink sparks smoothie craze<\/h3>\n

Launched in 2022, initially for a \u201climited time\u201d only, Hailey Bieber\u2019s Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie<\/b> quickly became a hit. <\/p>\n

Marketed<\/a> as \u201cskin supporting\u201d, the $20 smoothie was selling at a rate of 40,000 a month <\/b>by December 2023, per a GQ interview<\/a> with Vito Antoci, the company\u2019s executive vice-president.<\/p>\n

But in recent weeks, Erewhon has removed Bieber\u2019s name from the smoothie – a change that seems to have a very simple explanation<\/b>. <\/p>\n

\u201cHer contract [with Erewhon] ended<\/b>, so we can\u2019t say Hailey Bieber,\u201d a seller at one of the store\u2019s smoothie bars explained to Page Six<\/a> this week. The L.A. Times was given the same reason<\/a> when it spoke to Erewhon staff.<\/p>\n

Page Six was also told that the supermarket continues to reap the benefits of the now-defunct celebrity tie-in: \u201cAll the customers don\u2019t know. They still say Hailey Bieber<\/b>. She\u2019s not getting anything, but it\u2019s good for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

What\u2019s in the smoothie formerly known as the Hailey Bieber?<\/h3>\n

Now known simply as the Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie<\/b>, the drink is described<\/a> by Erewhon as \u201ca blend of almond milk, organic strawberries, bananas, avocado, dates, maple syrup, collagen peptides, sea moss gel, and coconut cream\u201d.<\/p>\n

Bieber, the founder of the skincare brand Rhode, told Vogue<\/a> in May this year: \u201cI have one [of the smoothies] every single day<\/b>. I would say it\u2019s probably 90% of the reason why my skin looks the way it does.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old, who is the wife of pop star Justin Bieber, did not devise the Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie\u2019s recipe <\/b>herself, Page Six was told by Erewhon workers. <\/p>\n

Per GQ, meanwhile, Hailey Bieber did not make money directly <\/b>from the smoothie partnership, with some of the profits from the drink\u2019s sale donated to charity.<\/p>\n
