Lady Gaga opened up in a new interview about the mental health struggle she suffered during the filming of the hit movie \u201cA Star Is Born.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n The pop icon revealed that she took lithium while making the Oscar-nominated film with Bradley Cooper in an interview with Rolling Stone.<\/a> Lithium is a mood stabilizer that is used to treat disorders such as mania, hypo-mania, depression and bipolar disorder, according to the National Health Service<\/a> in England.<\/p>\n The singer also released the album \u201cJoanne\u201d in 2016 and began a tour in 2017. I needed to take a break. I couldn\u2019t do anything \u2026 I completely crashed. It was really scary. There was a time where I didn\u2019t think I could get better. \u2026 I feel really lucky to be alive.
