Mercedes \u201cMJ\u201d Javid<\/strong> isn\u2019t afraid to admit that the pain of her recent split from estranged husband Tommy Feigh<\/strong>t is still fresh.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank god, I\u2019m gonna keep it very positive,\u201d The Shahs of Sunset<\/em><\/a> album, 53, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> of how she\u2019s holding up while attending BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas on Saturday, November 15.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like, of course, it\u2019s a difficult thing, but we\u2019re gonna be good,\u201d she continued, \u201cIt\u2019s very, very new and raw. So I\u2019m still, like, processing like 99 percent of it as we speak.\u201d<\/p>\n

Javid filed for divorce from Feight after seven years of marriage in October, filing her petition in Los Angeles Superior Court. She listed the date of marriage as March 21, 2018, per filings obtained by Us<\/em> at the time, and the date of separation as October 17, 2025 \u2014 the date of the divorce filing.<\/p>\n

Javid and Feight first met in 2015 before getting engaged the following year. In 2017, Javid spoke to E News<\/em> about the prospect of tying the knot with Feight.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe got engaged a year in and then we went through lots of ups and downs with family and just a lot of life curveballs,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cMy dad took a turn for his health \u2026. and Tommy and I moved in together. All of these stressful things just made our bond even tighter and when you have so many important life things happening, you don\u2019t pick fights with each other. You just want to stay sane and have as much gratitude and support for one another.\u201d<\/p>\n

Javid cited \u201cirreconcilable differences\u201d as the reason for the dissolution of her marriage in her 2025 court filings. When it comes to the pair\u2019s shared son, 6-year-old Shams, Javid is requesting the court award her both primary legal and physical custody while asking that her ex be granted visitation rights.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been the parent primarily involved in the caregiving and overall needs of our minor son,\u201d Javid told the court in a separate filing. \u201cI take our son to school and pick him up every day. I also organize and take our son to his play-dates, parties, doctors\u2019, and dentist\u2019s appointments.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued at the time, \u201cLikewise, I am responsible for his extracurricular activities and school activities with little to not involvement from [Feight]. My hours of employment are entirely within my control which allow me the flexibility to continue being primarily responsible for our son in this way. By no means do I want to alienate [Feight] from our son and I am more than happy to mutually agree to additional visitations or modifications in the best interest of our son.\u201d<\/p>\n

Feight, 53, has yet to respond to the divorce filing.<\/p>\n

While speaking to Us<\/em> on Saturday, Javid\u2019s former Shahs of Sunset<\/em> costar Reza Farahan<\/strong> praised his bestie for how she has handled the situation thus far.<\/p>\n
