Christmas in the Round is coming to Somerset Alliance Church<\/a>, 708 Stoystown Road, Somerset, at 7 p.m. Dec. 21.<\/p>\n The event<\/a>, produced by Thrive Productions Group and World Help, will feature national touring artists Mark Schultz, Aaron Shust, Jon Micah Sumrall of Kutless and Todd Tilghman, who was the season 18 winner of The Voice.<\/p>\n “Thrive Productions contacted us asking to host their Christmas concert writers round,<\/a> and we were happy to do so as a way to share joy, hope, and the message of the Christmas season with our community,” said Ashleigh Weaver, director of worship and young adult ministries at Somerset Alliance Church, in an email. “Through music, storytelling, and worship, we desire for lives to be touched through the gift of music that expresses the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus.”<\/p>\n Mark Schultz<\/p>\n The concert will be an intimate evening of songs and stories in the round that will include hit songs and Christmas classics, according to a statement by Thrive Productions Group.<\/p>\n More: <\/strong>Mount Union and Ream cemeteries site of 2025 National Wreaths Across America Day<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n “This will be a unique experience to celebrate Christmas with friends and family,” it said.<\/p>\n Mark Schultz has sold 2 million records and has had 10 No. 1 singles, a Dove Award, as well as multiple nominations in the last 18 years. Some of his hits include \u201cI Am,\u201d \u201cHe\u2019s My Son,\u201d \u201cLetters From War\u201d and \u201cBack In His Arms Again.”<\/p>\n Aaron Shust\u2019s success with \u201cMy Savior My God\u201d won the 2007 New Artist, Songwriter and Song of the Year. Later, as he grappled with a Down syndrome diagnosis for one son and waged a war with chronic illness for two, he continued to declare \u201cMy Hope is in You,\u201d a song which spent 14 weeks at No. 1, and \u201cEver Be,\u201d which debuted at No. 3 on the NCA chart. Shust’s 2014 Christmas Album “Unto Us” was recorded with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.<\/p>\n Aaron Shust<\/p>\n Jon Micah Sumrall is the lead singer for the Christian band Kutless.
