Ariana Grande<\/a> is headed back to “Saturday Night Live<\/a>” \u2014 and Cher<\/a> is coming with her.<\/p>\n The NBC sketch show has set its hosts and musical guests for the remainder of its 2025 episodes before a holiday break. As previously announced, Melissa McCarthy<\/a>, a member of the “SNL” “five-timers’ club” who won an Emmy for her work on the show, will return to host for her sixth time on Dec. 6 with musical guest Dijon.<\/p>\n After that, Josh O’Connor<\/a> is set to make his “SNL” hosting debut Dec. 13 with musical guest Lily Allen<\/a>. The appearance will come in conjunction with the release of O’Connor’s latest film “Wake Up Dead Man<\/a>,” the third movie in the “Knives Out” series that hits Netflix on Dec. 12. This will be Grande’s third time hosting “SNL” after she most recently did so in October 2024.<\/p>\n ‘SNL’ skewers <\/strong>Trump over Jeffrey Epstein emails in cold open<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n For Cher, the episode will mark the legendary singer’s first time appearing as the musical guest on “SNL” since 1987, though she performed in a concert marking the show’s 50th anniversary earlier this year.<\/p>\n “SNL” is six episodes into Season 51 and was mostly recently hosted on Nov. 15 by “The Running Man” star Glen Powell<\/a> with musical guest Olivia Dean. The Season 51 premiere was hosted by Bad Bunny, who was followed in subsequent weeks by Amy Poehler, Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>, Miles Teller and Nikki Glaser.<\/p>\n<\/span><\/div>\n
