Limp Bizkit\u2019s show in Estonia that was set for next year has been canceled after Fred Durst\u2019s previous pro-Russia comments resurfaced online, Rolling Stone reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n The nu-metal band was supposed to play the Unibet Arena in Tallinn on May 31, 2026. However, a Facebook page<\/a> for the event indicated that the event is now canceled. <\/p>\n The concert was postponed at first before Baltic Live Agency, the show\u2019s promoter, decided to cancel the gig entirely, according to Estonia\u2019s public broadcaster, ERR<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cWe inform you that due to circumstances beyond the organizer\u2019s control, the Limp Bizkit concert planned for May 31, 2026, is canceled,\u201d Baltic Live Agency said in a statement, per ERR. \u201cOur apologies!\u201d<\/p>\n Limp Bizkit rose to fame in the late 1990s, mainly due to the success of their second and third studio albums, \u201cSignificant Other\u201c (1999) and \u201dChocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water\u201d (2000). The group was nominated for three Grammys and charted several hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including \u201cRollin\u2019\u201d and \u201cNookie.\u201d<\/p>\n Limp Bizkit\u2019s Estonia show was originally announced on Nov. 7. It was almost immediately met with backlash over Durst\u2019s history of pro-Russia behavior, according to Rolling Stone. <\/p>\n For example, after Russia\u2019s annexation of Crimea in 2015, the singer expressed his desire to obtain a Russian passport and wrote a letter to Crimean authorities calling Vladimir Putin a \u201cgreat guy with clear moral principles,\u201d and held up a sign on stage that read \u201cCrimea=Russia.\u201d<\/p>\n At the time, Durst was married to Kseniya Beryazina, a Russian make-up artist from Crimea, as well. The couple divorced in 2019, Rolling Stone reported. <\/p>\n Durst\u2019s comments also resulted in Limp Bizkit being banned<\/a> from Ukraine starting in 2022 for five years. <\/p>\n \u201cMy position is clear, and I will repeat it: Russia is the aggressor, and Crimea is occupied by Russia.
