\n\tEXCLUSIVE<\/strong>: Deadly Class <\/em>creator Rick Remender<\/a> has signed with WME<\/a> and Brillstein Entertainment Partners<\/a>. The Uncanny Avengers <\/em>scribe\u2019s artist-first imprint Giant Generator has also signed with the uberagency and Wasserman-owned management firm for representation in all areas too.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWME and Brillstein share Giant Generator\u2019s artist-first ethos and passion for bold, original ideas,\u201d Remender told Deadline today of his exclusive imprint at Image Comics<\/a>. The plan is to develop Remender and Giant Generator\u2019s original IP across film, television, animation, as well as games.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThey\u2019re the right partners to help us expand our stories across every medium,\u201d Remender added of WME and BEP. \u201cI\u2019m thrilled about this team.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWith a cast that included Lana Condor<\/a> , Benedict Wong<\/a>, and Superman<\/a> <\/em>breakout Mar\u00eda Gabriela de Far\u00eda<\/a>, the 1980s punk fueled Deadly Class<\/em>, which Remender was co-showrunner on with Miles Orion Feldsott, was based on the acclaimed 56-issue Wes Craig illustrated comic series created by the writer. A cult hit in the truest sense of the phrase, the Vancouver-filmed and Russo Brothers<\/a> EP\u2019d show lasted one season on Syfy in 2019. <\/p>\n

\n\tBringing that same DIY sensibility to his other works, Remender also created the best selling Tokyo Ghost, Low, Black Science, Escape, Fear Agent, The Scumbag, Seven to Eternity,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Death or Glory<\/em>. Although it has dropped beneath the radar of late, a feature film adaption of Tokyo Ghost <\/em>by Remender was on Cary Fukunaga<\/a>\u2018s dance card for a spell. <\/p>\n

\n\tDuring his time at Marvel, LA-based Remender worked on some seminal CaptainAmerica series, plus stories that formed major parts of the g\u00a0Avengers: Endgame, Deadpool,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Guardians of the Galaxy<\/em> flicks. As well as an overall deal at Netflix, Remender has been behind some of Electronic Arts\u2019 biggest games such as\u00a0Dead Space.<\/em><\/p>\n

\n\tHaving been without an agency for a while since exiting UTA, Remender will still be repped by boutique law firm RLG LLP along with WME and Brillstein. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
