Over the weekend, Keith Urban<\/a> performed at Australian billionaire Anthony Pratt\u2019s holiday party, which he hosted at President Trump\u2019s Mar-a-Lago resort. The intimate, private set featured Urban and a small backing band.<\/p>\n In clips shared to Instagram<\/a> by realtor Tali Israel, Urban puts his own spin on Chappell Roan\u2019s \u201cPink Pony Club\u201d and Bob Marley & The Wailers\u2019 \u201cIs This Love?,\u201d among other covers. In the comments section<\/a> of one post that recirculated Israel\u2019s clips, Butch Walker \u2014 the current lead guitarist <\/a>for Train \u2014 wrote, \u201cWhat. A. F\u2014ing. Disappointment.\u201d Another fan gave Urban the benefit of the doubt, tweeting<\/a>, \u201cSinging Pink Pony Club at a Trump event might be a gag. He might have done this on purpose.\u201d<\/p>\n Notably, Urban has played coy on who he supported in the 2024 United States presidential election. \u201cI\u2019m often amazed that people don\u2019t look to artists\u2019 work \u2014 they\u2019re pretty clear on who they are and their views, and I\u2019m no different. \u2026 I play to extremely diverse audiences in every way, politically and pronoun, age groups, ethnicity,\u201d he told The Times<\/a> last fall.<\/p>\n Back in 2017, Urban toyed with the idea of performing at the White House, saying<\/a>, \u201cI would like to probably answer that question when it comes up, but I\u2019m a citizen, and I like to do what\u2019s right.\u201d<\/p>\n At an Oscars afterparty in March, Roan performed a special rendition of \u201cPink Pony Club\u201d alongside Elton John. The Missouri-bred pop star is also a noted critic of President Trump. Ahead of the 2024 election, she posted a TikTok, saying<\/a>, \u201cF\u2014 Trump for f\u2014ing real, but f\u2014 some of the sh\u2013 that has gone down in the Democratic party that has failed people like me and you \u2014 and, more so, Palestine, and more so, every marginalized community in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cBlue Ain\u2019t Your Color\u201d singer\u2019s performance comes just two months after his separation from Nicole Kidman. The Babygirl actress filed for divorce<\/a> after 19 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.<\/p>\n Anthony Pratt is the executive chairman of Pratt Industries, a leading privately owned recycled paper and packaging company.
