The EP marks the band\u2019s first release since signing to the label and follows their DIY ethos.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the new song, vocalist <strong>Xavier<\/strong> <strong>Morency<\/strong> says, <em>\u201cthe lyrics to <strong>Mourning Dove<\/strong> are hands down the most painful I\u2019ve ever written. They\u2019re made to spear you in the stomach, and unapologetically so. Coincidentally, they\u2019re also my favorite lyrics of ours.
