Late legend Frank Sinatra<\/a>\u2019s presence on Billboard<\/em>\u2019s charts stretches from the first national ranking in 1940 to today, 85 years later.<\/p>\n Sinatra debuts at No. 26 on the Adult Contemporary<\/a> chart (dated Nov. 22) with Pentatonix<\/a> on \u201cI\u2019ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm.\u201d The song drew 282,000 in audience from plays on 18 stations Nov. 7-13, according to Luminate.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n The carol is from Pentatonix\u2019s new album, Christmas in the City<\/em>, which debuted as the vocal group\u2019s 11th top 10<\/a> on the Top Holiday Albums<\/a> chart earlier in November.<\/p>\n \u201cWe met someone with the estate, and the Sinatras had to give their blessing, and we are beyond honored,\u201d the group\u2019s Scott Hoying recently told<\/a> iHeartRadio\u2019s Ellen K of the team-up with Sinatra, who died in 1998. \u201cThey blessed us with his sweet voice and we got to release an unheard vocal, and it\u2019s wild if you listen to it. You can hear the papers ruffling and the bleed of the orchestra from the other room. To have our names next to Frank Sinatra is just, like, that\u2019s iconic. It\u2019s such an honor.\u201d<\/p>\n Sinatra bookends Billboard<\/em> chart archives, as he sang on the first No. 1 \u2014 \u201cI\u2019ll Never Smile Again,\u201d billed as by Tommy Dorsey \u2014 on the first nationwide sales chart<\/a>, the National List of Best Selling Retail Records, published in the July 27, 1940, issue.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Board appears on Adult Contemporary (or any current-based Billboard<\/em> radio chart) for the first time since Sept. 29, 1984. He lands his highest rank since May 31, 1980, when his revered \u201cTheme From New York, New York\u201d hit No. 10, becoming his 20th top 10. He boasts the longest span of making the tally (more than 64 years and four months), as he placed on the inaugural edition dated July 17, 1961.<\/p>\n Holiday music continues to grant Sinatra new chart honors. In December 2023, his take on \u201cJingle Bells\u201d hit No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100<\/a>, marking his first appearance in the top 20 since 1967<\/a>. Plus, last holiday season, Ultimate Christmas<\/em> became his 33rd top 10 album on the Billboard 200<\/a>, extending his record for the most among male soloists<\/a>.<\/p>\n
