Online<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n Ashley Tisdale<\/a> is bop, bop, boppin\u2019 her new moniker to the top. <\/span><\/p>\n As she continues to <\/span>expand her Frenshe wellness brand<\/span><\/a>, the “<\/span>High School Musical”<\/span><\/a> star \u2014 who\u2019s married to <\/span>Christopher French \u2014 shared that she\u2019s now going by her marital name professionally. <\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been Ashley French for so long at home,\u201d Tisdale, 40, explained in her <\/span>Nov. 17 TikTok video<\/span><\/a>. \u201cBut I\u2019ve never really changed [my name] publicly because everybody knows me as Ashley Tisdale. I just felt like it was time for people to know me for me, and not just for a character or a celebrity.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n After all, the \u201cBe Good to Me\u201d singer \u201chas so much to talk about\u201d in her personal life, such as \u201cbeing in my 40s\u201d and \u201cbeing a parent\u201d to her kids <\/span>Jupiter<\/a>, 4, and <\/span>Emerson<\/a>, 13 months. Everyone always has something to say, and it might not be positive \u2014 not that I want to block out the negativity. But I felt like in order to protect my peace, I didn\u2019t want to keep sharing that way.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n This isn\u2019t the first time Tisdale has talked about her layered relationship with social media. In fact, the \u201cHe Said She Said\u201d artist announced she was <\/span>taking a break from the online space<\/span><\/a> earlier this year.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAs the world is getting loud, I find myself wanting to share less and less,\u201d she wrote in an Instagram Stories in February. \u201cMaybe it\u2019s because I don\u2019t feel I can contribute in my positive way when everything feels so negative.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI’ve been loving putting my phone down and being in the moment,\u201d she continued. \u201cSocial media is such a blessing when you want to connect with everyone but can also be so noisy when used with judgement and assumptions.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
